Can tickets also be purchased at the box office? 
If tickets are still available for the respective games, they can also be purchased at the box offices in Düsseldorf, Mannheim and Gelsenkirchen.

2. Discounts 

 

At what age do children need their own ticket? 
Children up to and including 5 years of age are admitted free when accompanied by an adult (lap seat, no own seat). Lap tickets for admission can be purchased at the box office. 

Are there discounted tickets for teenagers, students, or seniors? 
No. Special discounts for these groups are not available.

Are there any special family offers?
Yes. Special family offers will also become available later during the ticket sales process.

Where can tickets for wheelchair users and their companions be purchased? 
Wheelchair tickets can be ordered by phone or email at [email protected]. No discounts are available for students, seniors or youth.

3. Ticket Types and Prices 

 

Which tickets will be available at the start of the pre-sale? 
During the first pre-sale phase, the Game Day Package Quarter-Finals for Düsseldorf and Mannheim will be available. In addition, the Final Round Package and selected tickets for the opening game in Gelsenkirchen (taking place on May 13) will go on sale.

What ticket categories are available? 
For the IIHF World Championship 2027™, only seated tickets are available in Düsseldorf. In Mannheim and Gelsenkirchen, tickets are available in Categories 1 to 4, with Category 4 offering standing tickets.

What are Game Day Packages? 
Game Day Packages include admission to all two or three games played on the same day at a single venue.

Can Game Day Packages be split into individual tickets? 
Yes. When purchasing a Game Day Package, the ticket buyer will receive a separate ticket for each game included in the package.

What does the Final Round Package include? 
The Final Round Package includes both semi-Finals, the bronze medal game, and the gold medal game, all taking place in Düsseldorf.

4. Ticket Formats 

 

Which ticket formats are available? 
At the start of the presale, we will offer Mobile Tickets and Print@Home Tickets.
Print@Home Tickets 

How can I download my Print@Home ticket? 
Tickets purchased through the ticket webshop can be printed at home by selecting Print@Home as the delivery method during checkout. Once your tickets have been personalized and your payment has been successfully completed, you will receive an order confirmation email with your tickets attached as PDF files. You can also download or print your tickets at any time from your customer account in the ticket webshop.

Is a screenshot of my Print@Home ticket on my phone valid? 
No. Print@Home tickets are only valid when printed. We recommend printing them on white A4 paper. Only one copy of each ticket may be printed.

What does the personalization of Print@Home tickets mean, and why is it 
required? 

All tickets for the IIHF World Championship 2027™ are combined event and public transport tickets. They are valid for direct travel to and from the venue on buses, trams, and approved regional trains (DB: RE, RB, and S-Bahn, 2nd class) marked with the VRN or VRR symbols throughout the entire Rhine-Neckar Transport Association (VRN) and Rhine-Ruhr Transport Association (VRR) networks, as well as on Düsseldorf’s Rheinbahn services.

To ensure that Print@Home tickets can also be used as valid public transport tickets on the day of the event, the name of each ticket holder must be entered during the ticket purchase process.

Can Print@Home tickets be personalized after purchase? 
Unfortunately, no. Personalization cannot be changed after the purchase has been completed.

Is there anything else I should know about Print@Home tickets? 
Please follow the printed folding instructions to ensure that the QR code is not damaged and can be scanned easily at the entrance.

You should also protect your ticket from moisture and dirt.

What should I do if I have not received my Print@Home tickets? 
Your tickets are attached to your order confirmation email. If you have not received the email, please check your spam or junk folder first.

Alternatively, you can download your tickets at any time from your customer account under "My Tickets."

Mobile Tickets 

What is a Mobile Ticket? 
A Mobile Ticket is your digital ticket for your smartphone.

After purchase, you can download the. pkpass file directly from your confirmation email or your customer account and save it to a wallet app (such as Apple Wallet). The ticket is available offline and cannot be converted into a Print@Home ticket. 

Can Mobile Tickets only be used with iOS, or are other operating systems supported? 
Mobile Tickets can also be used on smartphones with other operating systems, provided that a compatible wallet app is installed. For example, Android or Windows users can use apps such as OneWallet to store and manage their tickets. 

What are the advantages of Mobile Tickets? 
Mobile Tickets can be stored and managed conveniently on your smartphone.

They offer several practical features. For example, if location services are enabled, your ticket can automatically appear on your screen as you approach the venue, making it quick and easy to scan at the entrance.

5. Payment and Delivery 

 

Which payment methods are accepted? 
In the ticket webshop, you can pay using Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Google Pay, and Apple Pay.
For orders placed through the Service and Ticket Hotline for the IIHF World Championship 2027™, Mastercard, Visa, and American Express are accepted.

At the venue box office, payment by EC (debit) card is also accepted.

How can I obtain an invoice for my ticket order? 
A payment confirmation is issued for every order. If you require an invoice showing VAT,
you can request one by emailing [email protected].

6. Ticket Returns 

 

Can purchased tickets be cancelled? 
According to our General Terms and Conditions, tickets cannot be exchanged or returned.

What should I do in case of illness or business-related absence? 
In this case, our General Terms and Conditions also apply, and tickets cannot be exchanged or returned. However, you are welcome to transfer your tickets to friends or acquaintances.

7. Third-Party Ticket Platforms 

 

We strongly advise against purchasing tickets via third-party marketplaces such as Viagogo or classified ad platforms. Counterfeit blocked or invalid tickets are possible and entry may be refused. Please purchase tickets only through our official sales channels.
