The IIHF, founded on 15 May 1908 in Paris, France, is the governing body of international ice hockey. The IIHF features 82 member associations, each of which is the national governing body of the sport in its nation. Besides controlling the international rulebook, processing international player transfers, and dictating officiating guidelines, the IIHF runs numerous development programs designed to bring hockey to a broader population. The IIHF also presides over ice hockey in the Olympic Games, and over the IIHF World Championships at all levels, men, women, men under-20, men under-18 and women under-18. Each season, the IIHF, in collaboration with its local organising committees, runs around 25 different World Championships in the five different categories.

IT Coordinator (m/f/d) 100%

The IIHF would like this position to start as soon as possible.
  
The IT Coordinator supports the IIHF Staff efficiently and professionally in various technical tasks and reports directly to the Technology Director.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
  • Technical 1st and 2nd Level support for all departments
  • Monitoring and maintenance of network systems and servers
  • Managing licenses, backups and devices, including security patches
  • Installing and configure hardware equipment and software programs
  • Improvement of existing tools and processes, as well as documentation
  • Collaboration in projects and assisting the Technology Director in miscellaneous tasks
 
Skills and Qualifications
 
We are looking for a dedicated and open-minded team player with good technical and social skills, who brings the following requirements:
 
  • Apprenticeship in Information technology or similar
  • Experience in 1st/ 2nd Level Support is an asset
  • Extensive knowledge of IT systems/ Microsoft 365
  • Programming skills are an advantage
  • Fluency in English, German is a plus
  • Good communication skills with a positive, motivated attitude and service-oriented way of working

North America Development Specialist (f/m/d) 100%

Knowing the importance of the North America market, we would like to hire a specialist to develop our strategy.

The IIHF would like this position to start as soon as possible. 

Key Responsibilities
 
  • Management of current IIHF programs and foresight to develop new initiatives around the North America market
  • Data management, storage and surveys in order to decide the new strategies around the North America market
  • On-site coordination for development programs such as coaching and learn to play, with a focus on the North America market
  • In charge of IIHF equipment programs
  • Partner and supplier management
  • Ice hockey major events organization and management (handle the challenges and opportunities around the current technologies in sport)

Skills and Qualifications
 
  • Master of advanced studies or PHD Degree in Sport Management
  • Prior experience in hosting international events
  • Excellent language skills in English (C2)
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail
  • In-depth knowledge of North American national and regional ice hockey market
  • Experience in coaching
  • Thorough understanding of process management and improvement
  • Background in finances in the sport environment
  • Background in sport technologies with the ability to find gaps in sport technology and growth opportunities
