The International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) is the governing body of international ice hockey. The IIHF features 81 member associations, each of which is the national governing body of the sport in its nation. Besides controlling the international rulebook, processing international player transfers, and dictating officiating guidelines, the IIHF runs numerous development programs designed to bring hockey to a broader population. From its headquarters in Zurich, the IIHF organize in cooperation with its 27 staff members more than 25 international tournaments and competitions annually.

In order to support our Legal Department, we are looking for a dedicated and passionate professional as: 
 

Integrity Officer (m/w/d)

 
The Integrity Officer (100%) is part of the Legal Team to organise and control all kind of  anti-doping and integrity related projects. The role is designed to overlook and lead projects including managing and coordinating the IIHF Integrity Education. The Integrity Officer is the person of contact for any questions which are anti-doping related. Supporting and assisting the IIHF Legal Director includes liasing and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders related the Anti-Doping program. 

This position requires good language knowledge in English, consolidated knowledge and experience in Anti-Doping, ideally a Bachelor`s or master`s degree in a relevant discipline and furthermore experience in an international environment.

The Integrity Officer reports directly to the Legal Director and executes the tasks defined below:
 
Responsibilities and Duties:

Anti-Doping:
  • Planning, managing and coordinating effective and comprehensive testing programs in relation to IIHF Championships and the Kontinental Hockey League (including in-competition and out-of-competition and testing pools), including controlling the budgets related thereto.
  • Designing and implementing Test Distribution Plans in line with IIHF’s Risk Assessments.
  • Investigating and evaluating available intelligence and including it effectively in the Test Distribution Plan.
  • Mission management, Reporting and Controlling in WADA’s Anti-Doping Administration & Management System (ADAMS).
  • Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) Management and Coordination of the IIHF TUE Committee.
  • Managing Anti-Doping Education.
  • Ensuring IIHF compliance with the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) International Standards.
  • Liaising and coordinating with other stakeholders involved in the anti-doping programs (national anti-doping organisations, laboratories, testing agencies, experts, panel members, etc.).
 
Other IIHF Integrity Areas (Match Fixing, Abuse & Harassment and Ethics):
  • Managing the IIHF Integrity Education. 
  • Acting as a liaison between the IIHF and the Integrity Officers of the IIHF Members.
  • Assisting with Integrity investigations.
  • Managing the IIHF Abuse & Harassment Portal, including national case management.
 
Qualifications and Experiences:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant discipline (e.g. Business Administration, Sports Management);
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, ideally in a similar administrative and international role.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Anti-Doping experience;
  • Strong IT skills, particularly with Excel and PowerPoint, data management systems (ADAMS) and systems development / system solutions.
  • Very good English written and oral communication skills;

IT MANAGER (m/w/d)

 
Responsibilities

The IT Manager (100%) is part of the Technology Team to organise and control all kind of IT related projects. The role is designed to overlook and lead projects including reporting and budgeting. The IT Manager is the person of contact for any questions which are IT related and distribute tasks to the dedicated employees. Supporting and assisting the IIHF Technology Director is one of the daily tasks, which also includes developing and maintaining IT related solutions.

This position requires good language knowledge, consolidated knowledge and experience in IT, ideally a commercial IT education with office experience and furthermore experience/education in project management to lead the team. 

The IT Manager reports directly to the Technology Director and executes the tasks defined below:

Primary Duties
 
  • Distributing, controlling and reporting of IT Projects
  • Implementation and development of new IT Solutions
  • Person of Communication and Contact for employees of the IIHF
  • Maintaining close business relationships with the IIHF IT partners and suppliers
  • Perform various, miscellaneous duties at the discretion of the Technology Director
  • Monitors daily performance of the Technology Team 
   
Qualifications and Experiences
 
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Solid background as an IT manager or in a matching field
  • Strong technical skills 
  • Organisation and time management.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Management and leadership skills including team work
  • Fluency in English and German (written and spoken)
  • Computer skills; fluency in all Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Manage competing deadlines; ability to prioritize under pressure over longer periods 
  • High sense of responsibility 
  • Willingness to travel and work irregular hours, Interest to work in a dynamic fast changing international environment
