Flip pass 1 meter distance
Objective: Teach player to execute short flip pass (sauce pass). Warm up. 

Points of emphasis: 
  • Start in hockey stance, facing partners 
  • Bring with the puck behind the feet 
  • Put the pressure on the stick so that it performs like a wedge 
  • Rotate the puck by rolling it from the middle of the blade to the toe 
  • This rotation ensures that the puck will land flat when it contacts the ice 
  • Follow through with pointing the blade to target
