Forehand passing + receiving

Passing:
- Player is in the hockey stance
- Bring the puck behind the body
- Body weight is on the leg closer to the stick blade
- Puck is in the heel of the stick blade
- Head is up looking at the other player
- Make eye contact with the receiver
- Puck is passed towards the other player’s blade with a sweeping action of the arms
- As the puck is passed, the weight is transferred from the leg closer to the stick blade to the leg further away from the stick blade
- After the passing movement has been completed, player goes to the starting position and is ready to receive a puck
- Player is in the hockey stance
- Head is up looking at the puck
- Making eye contact with the passer
- Stick blade is on the ice
- Keep the stick blade at 90° towards the direction of the puck
- As the puck touches the stick blade, move stick blade backwards, to cushion the puck touch
- Be prepared to pass
