Ticket packages are on sale now!

Hockey Canada has announced three ticket packages that fans can purchase to secure their seat for the IIHF World Junior Championship in Edmonton and Red Deer, Alta. All ticket holders must be fully vaccinated to attend games in both communities.

The 2022 IIHF World Junior Championship features thirty-one games being played at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alta. and the Peavey Mart Centrium in Red Deer, Alta. from December 26, 2021 to January 5 2022.

Ticket packages are on sale now! All ticket holders must be fully vaccinated to attend games in both communities. As a result of the priority ticket draw that took place ahead of the 2021 IIHF World Junior Championship, a limited number of ticket packages are available. Get your Edmonton tickets and Red Deer tickets before they’re gone!

EDMONTON TICKET PACKAGES

Two eight-game ticket packages are available for Rogers Place in Edmonton and start as low as $495. Edmonton half package A features one ticket for five preliminary-round games, including Canada’s New Year’s Eve match-up against Finland, as well as Team Canada’s quarterfinal and semi-final games (if qualified), and the bronze medal game. Edmonton half package B also features five preliminary-round games, including Team Canada’s games against Austria on Dec. 28 and Germany on Dec. 29, as well as the first quarterfinal, first semi-final and the gold medal game.

RED DEER TICKET PACKAGES

A 16-game ticket package for the Peavey Mart Centrium in Red Deer is also available for $560. It includes two Team Canada pre-competition games, all 10 preliminary-round games featuring Russia, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland and the United States, as well as two relegation games and two quarterfinals.

A: The official 2022 IIHF World Junior Championship schedule was announced Nov. 4.

Q: I purchased a ticket package in 2021 and retained my seats for this year’s event. When should I expect to receive communication on my current ticket package?

A:  Emails were sent out to all ticket package holders from the Oilers Entertainment Group (OEG)/Roger’s Place on Thursday, Nov. 4 with information on your ticket packages. Please ensure to check your junk/spam folder if you did not receive this email directly.

Q: When will I receive my tickets that I purchased for the 2022 IIHF World Junior Championship?

A:  Tickets will be issued out for all package holders by Dec. 12. Tickets will be uploaded into your Roger’s Place Account Manager for all Edmonton ticket package holders and will be distributed via email by Tickets Alberta to all Red Deer package holders.

Q: Will proof of a negative COVID-19 test be accepted for entry into the venue for the 2022 IIHF World Junior Championship?

A: Full vaccination from COVID-19 will be mandatory to attend the 2022 IIHF World Junior Championship. Negative tests will not be accepted. Alberta’s vaccine record with a QR Code (paper or digital) will be the only valid Alberta proof of vaccination accepted for entry. For other provinces and territories, proof of full vaccination must be in the form of documentation issued by the public health authority that administered the vaccine - a vaccination card issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC); or a record of vaccination from the health-care provider that administered the vaccine(s), along with proof of identification.

Q: Am I required to wear a mask in the venue?

A: Face masks are required to be worn by all fans upon entry into the venue. Fans will also be responsible to bringing their own mask.

Q: What time do the doors open before each game?

A: Fans will be permitted to start entering the venue one hour prior to puck drop.

Q: Will I be able to re-enter the venue once I leave?

A: No. There is no re-entry once you have had your ticket scanned. In the case of a special circumstance or emergency, please contact an usher for assistance prior to exiting the venue.

Q: Am I able to receive a refund for any packages or single-game tickets that I have purchased?

A: There will be no refunds for any event packages or single-game tickets purchased for the 2022 IIHF World Junior Championship.
