Learn to Play (LTP) Program

The Swedish Ice Hockey Federation will present an in-depth overview of its U8–U10 development model, focusing on the core principles of the Learn to Play (LTP) player pathway. This session will explore how Sweden structures early-player development, builds age-appropriate training environments, and supports long-term player engagement. The presentation will highlight key components of the LTP pathway and lessons learned that can inspire MNAs globally aiming to strengthen their grassroots systems and improve recruitment and retention at the youngest ages.
